DRY RUNS -> WEEK OF AUGUST 6, 2018

Drivers are required to perform one or more dry runs during this week (as directed). GPS verification will be conducted. In an effort to ensure drivers receive prompt assistant during this week, you will be provided a detailed schedule at the time of bidding. If you select a special needs route, you will be scheduled additional time to make parent/guardian contacts, as required. All drivers transporting students and/or medical needs, will be required to make contact with the parents/guardians, to discuss the student’s needs and communicate the pick-up/drop-off times. See your assigned TOA for a script and sample questions to assist in obtaining all necessary student information.

Perform the entire route as if it were the first day of school, in your assigned bus, and according to your route times. You will be paid your bid time/hours. During your dry run, when you arrive at your school(s), ensure that you go into the office and introduce yourself to school staff responsible for transportation.

MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2018 -> FIRST DAY OF THE 2018/2019 SCHOOL YEAR.
