CCSD Board of Trustees has approved the tentative budget for 2011-2012.

The CCSD Board of Trustees authorizes Superintendent Jones to initiate Reduction in Force
Even though their words were scolding the Governor and the Legislature, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to authorize a reduction in force that will affect approximately suppport staff employees.
ESEA does not agree with this decision and we are working diligently to review all options.

Part-Time (4.1-4.9 hours)

Did you know.....
* That as of July 1, 2011,(on your anniversary date) the freeze that was put on all ESP's Salary step increase as well as the Longevity pay will be lifted?
* That ESEA saved employees an additional out-of-pocket expenses for Insurance of 10% and PERS 5%?
ESEA was able to fund these increases with our insurance reserve fund for the 2010-2011 FY
* That due to our persistence, CCSD is now going to fully staff school-based positions at 100% staffing, thus reducing the amount of RIF'd employees?
* That ESEA lobbied to reduce CCSD funding cuts from $400 million to $150 million,therefore saving hundreds of positions that were scheduled to be cut in the fiscal year 2011-2013?
* That ESEA continues to fight the CCSD and State Legislature against privatization efforts of ESP jobs by for-profit companies?
* That ESEA and members like you are working everyday to protect our negotiated agreement with the
Clark County School District?
