To All The Bargaining Unit.

As you all know, the contract has been Ratified and approved by the CCSD board of Trustees.I want to send out a big THANK YOU to the Bargaining Team. It was a tough job but we got it done.I know that this was not the best it could be , but in this economy it is the best we could get.We did not take the 8% cut that CCSD wanted or the 8 furlough days .we did not give up guarantees such as work hours or days,benefits,etc.We basically gave up nothing.

Now we have two years to get everyone involved in writing to Carson City and MAKE The POLITICIANS Funf Education at the NATIONAL levels like they do in other STATES.Get your neighbors and friends involed in a WRITING CAMPAIGN. The more funding for EDUCATION the better it is for all of us,

So I want you all to know that ESEA will continue to ORGANIZE,ADVOCATE, and PROTECT the CONTRACT RIGHTS of each and every MEMBER.

WE ARE THE ONLY RECOGNIZE BARGAINING AGENT BY CCSD.

So in closing I have a thought for us all. What would tomorrow be like if you got up and there was no ESEA.

Our CONTRACT would be GONE ! Don't Be FOOLED READ ARTICLE 38-3 !!
