Huge Win for ESP / Unemployment
This morning, March 26, 2021, it was announced that Gov. Sisolak has signed an emergency regulation allowing Education Support Professionals to receive unemployment benefits during the summer months!
This is a huge win for ESP’s and will provide relief for those who make our schools run!
We would like to thank Governor Sisolak, DETR, and the Commerce and Labor Committee for working with NSEA, ESEA, and Teamsters 14 to find a resolution to this important issue.
We would also like to thank our members and allies who sent hundreds of emails in support of this fix.
