SOME QUESTIONS TO ASK DURING YOUR FIRST DAYS ON THE JOB Who is my immediate supervisor? What is my work schedule? How are my breaks scheduled? What are the goals of the schools, department, and district? How do I apply for personal, vacation, or sick leave? What is my job description? How do I secure supplies? Where should I park? Is there a dress code? What machines or equipment am I responsible for - computer, copier, laminator, etc.? What is the payroll and deduction calendar? What is my personnel file? What is in it and where is it located? Where do I go if I am having problems? How do I know if I am doing a good job? Is there an ID badge I should wear? What is the overtime policy?
